NEW POLICY | We’re Ending TFP Sessions

A New Chapter

Change is never easy, but it’s often necessary for growth. Today, I’m sharing an important update about Parkway Studios: effective October 1, 2025, we’re no longer offering TFP (Trade for Print) photo sessions.

This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. TFP collaborations played a crucial role in my early development, helping me build my portfolio, refine my style, and connect with talented creatives throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. But as the studio has evolved, so have the needs and the understanding of what makes a sustainable creative business.

What Led to This Decision

Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a shift in how TFP sessions were functioning. The balance that made these collaborations work, mutual respect, shared creative vision, and clear expectations, has become difficult to maintain. Issues surrounding creative control, image usage rights, and who bears financial responsibility created friction that ultimately wasn’t serving anyone well.

Here’s the reality: every session I produce requires significant investment. When that investment isn’t balanced with appropriate compensation, it becomes challenging to sustain the quality and service our clients deserve.

What This Means Moving Forward

All creative sessions will now operate under one of two models:

  1. Client-initiated paid sessions, where you hire me for your specific photography needs
  2. Studio-directed projects where I concept the shoot and hire compensated talent

This approach ensures that everyone involved, models, stylists, and clients, is properly valued for their contributions.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To every model, influencer, and creative who collaborated with me:  thank you! Your energy and artistry helped shape what Parkway Studios is today and where I’m heading. I’m genuinely grateful for the work we created together and the relationships we built along the way.

We’re Still Shootin’

This change doesn’t mean I’m closing the doors; I’m just opening different ones. I’m only seeking paid commissioned projects with creatives who understand the value that I bring. If you’re interested in collaborating on commercial projects, brand campaigns, or creative concepts, I’d love to hear from you.

My focus will always remain the same: creating exceptional photography work and solving media challenges for you, our clients. I’m just doing it in a way that respects everyone’s time, talent, and resources.

If you have questions about this transition or want to discuss a potential project, reach out to me at info@parkway-studios.com.
